Dryland Training Opportunity
Dear Swim Families,
We’re excited to offer a structured dryland training program for our Age Group and Senior swimmers for the remainder of this long-course season!
Dryland is a vital part of swim training and helps swimmers build strength, improve core stability, and reinforce proper body positioning—all of which translate to better performance in the water. This program is specifically designed for competitive swimmers in both the Age Group and Senior levels. However, if your swimmer is outside of these groups and you feel they would benefit from participating, they are welcome to join in and modify exercises as needed.
Dryland Structure:
- Age Group swimmers: 2 sessions per week
- Senior swimmers: 5 sessions per week
- Exercises will include bodyweight strength training, core activation, and swim-specific drills like streamline holds and flutter kicks.
- Swimmers are responsible for checking the workout schedule each week and tracking their training progress.
Participation is required for AG2 and Senior swimmers
Each week, swimmers will receive a Google Form with the assigned exercises. This form is where they will check in and report completion of their workouts.
If you’d like your swimmer to be included in this opportunity, please email Krista Eye at eyekrista@gmail.com to sign up.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like help getting your swimmer started!
